On September 24th, Negin Niksirat successfully defended her Master of Science thesis project titled “Pilot study of cognitive function in individuals treated with adjuvant FOLFOX chemotherapy for colon cancer”!
Her project was supervised by Dr. Kristin Campbell, and included committee members were Dr. Teresa Lui-Ambrose, Associate Professor at the Department of Physical Therapy at UBC, and Dr. Howard Lim, a medical oncology at the BC Cancer Agency.
Negin will continue to pursue research opportunities in the Netherlands after her Master of Science.
