Congratulations to Dr. Sarah Neil-Sztamko and Dr. Amy Kirkham!

Congratulations to Sarah Neil-Sztramko and Amy Kirkham on their successful PhD Defenses!

Sarah successfully defended her doctoral thesis in October 2015 titled “Physical activity to improve health and reduce chronic disease risk in female night shift workers.” She will be starting a Postdoctoral Fellowship at McMaster University in September 2016.

Amy successfully defended her doctoral thesis in February 2016 titled “Exercise cardio-protection from chemotherapy for breast cancer.” She will be starting her Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Alberta in March 2016, and was awarded the Canadian Institute of Health Research Fellowship and the Alberta Innovates Health Solutions Clinician Fellowship.
