CEPL Lab member, Gillian Smith, has been selected as the September 2023 Student of the Month, in the Rehabilitation Sciences Graduate Program!
Gill is currently working on her MSc in Rehabilitation Sciences, studying how changes in muscle and body composition during chemotherapy affect colon cancer outcomes, and how psychosocial factors like social isolation and income impact this relationship.
Outside of her academic work, Gill loves to snowboard and hike, and is often found in the mountains on the weekend. She also enjoys organizing social events for her Masters program through her role on the Rehabilitation Science Student Executive Council (RSEC).
